On August 10th and 11th Hundred North and Atwood Ales are partnering to offer a unique experience - a field dinner hosted at Atwood Ales' 100 year old farm brewery in Blaine, WA.

Guests will enjoy a multi-course meal, with 10 pairings of local fare prepared by Chef Todd Alan Martin with 5 beers from Atwood Brewers Josh and Monica Smith. The brewers will discuss their beers and the pairings.

Field dinners allow diners to experience the connection between their food and the land in a unique way - a shock to the system where we're removed from our normal settings and given the opportunity to dine where our food is grown. A revolutionary act in our modern, tech-driven society.

Tickets are $125, with transportation to and from the event provided. Diners will enjoy food prepared over open fires and ovens which will be specially constructed for the event. Both the dishes and beer will feature ingredients from the site and nearby farms, and guests will dine in Atwood's perfectly manicured hop field.

While the event will be somewhat rustic, it will also be an elegant affair and a celebration of our region. Interested parties are invited to purchase tickets through Eventbrite or contact Hundred North for more information.

HUNDRED NORTH

TODD ALAN MARTIN | TIM SHEA | ALEXINE LANGDON

In the heart of downtown Bellingham, Hundred North focuses on their core goal: serving delicious, sustainable food to the folks of Bellingham. With a focus on sourcing raw, local, organic ingredients from farms and fishermen in Skagit and Whatcom County, the small, dedicated staff at Hundred North prepares delicious food and beverages nightly. Owner Timothy Shea has lived in Bellingham for 10 years and decided to give fine dining a go after watching places he enjoyed, such as Prospect Street Cafe and Nimbus go out of business. He brought in Chef Todd Alan Martin and Bar Manager Alexine Langdon to help elevate his vision, and to make Hundred North Bellingham's premier dining experience.

ATWOOD ALES

JOSH SMITH | MONICA SMITH | STEPHEN SMITH | LESLEE SMITH

Located just 18 miles north of the burgeoning Bellingham brewery scene, on the outskirts of a scenic seaside town, is Blaine, Washington’s first, and oldest, brewery – Atwood Ales. The unique setting provided by their 100 year old farmhouse and barn and the surrounding acreage is not only visually compelling, but also provides countless opportunities to directly incorporate estate and locally grown agricultural and natural ingredients into their small batch beers. Atwood Ale's family owned and operated farm and brewery produces a variety of ales, with many in the spirit of the French and Belgian farmhouse ales that help to inspire their brewing passion.
